Denver welcomed a new baby in the early morning hours of March 7, 2025 and mother BB and baby Thorn are thriving!! In celebration of this historic event, the first giraffe born at the Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance since 2017, Tammy Lynne Winters was moved to donate a bronze sculpture titled, “First Kiss” in kind to the Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance. Tammy is a highly respected museum artist with over thirty years capturing the spirit, strength, and beauty of animals with her breathtaking sculptures. She is represented exclusively at the newly opened POP Gallery Denver in the Downtown ARTS District on Santa Fe Drive. Tammy & the gallery will present the sculpture at the zoo plaza on Friday August 8th!
